i only have like 2 points for this?

  1. do you remember we got another sheet in year 10 with loads of points (for and against)?

    the main points are:
    - 86% of the world belong to some sort of religion or other

    - there are many religious buildings in many countries (churches, cathedrals, mosques, mandirs, and temples etc. generally do stand out)

    - many famous people are religious, and thus influence others (e.g. Nick Vujicic, the man with no limbs who travels around the world preaching about the word of God)

    - people believe the purpose of life is to learn about God and prepare for the afterlife

    - there are lots of early evidence of religion (for example Jerusalem, the birth place of Jesus Christ)

    - religion is growing at a phenomenal rate in some parts of the world (e.g. Christianity in China)

    - religion can't be wrong since so many people believe in it; there are also numerous similarities between them (e.g. following moral rules; in Christianity many of the Ten Commandments can also serve as secular guidelines like "honour your father and mother" (fifth), "you shall not murder" (sixth), "you shall not steal" (eigth), "you shall not lie" (ninth) etc.

    - religion comes from and leads to God - or else why would so many people follow it? Therefore, God must exist!

I don't think you want me to write a proper exam answer with so many points. :)

  2. You can also talk about how if everyone believes in God, their influence may pass onto you. Its just like if your parents are always drunk and abusive, when you grow up you will most likely be drunk and abusive. So if everyone believes in God and you always lived in that kind of environment, you will eventually believe in God as well. :D

And also since religion has existed for so many years yet no one has completely proved that is wrong then it must be right!
