  1. This one's easy.

Basically, the points are Prayers (bedtime, before meals, throughout the day), Baptism, Church (like special services during Christmas or Easter etc.), Sunday School, Church School, community activities like Brownies or Scouts etc.

Religious upbringing in a Christian family can lead to a belief in God because Christian teachings are taught and applied to daily activities around the family. For example, parents follow the greatest commandment of agape love, and children in turn follow the Commandment “Honour your mother and father” (Leviticus 19:3). Another example is prayers before meals and bedtime prayers. Everything comes from God (1 Chronicles 29:14), and praying constantly throughout the day emphasises God’s presence, and thus supports belief in God. You are constantly exposed to it, which strengthens the belief that God exists.

Additionally, because everybody around you is a Christian and holds similar beliefs and values, this emphasises the importance of God. For example, Christian parents may send their children to Christian schools, where Christianity and God is a key feature of school life. Children learn about God every day in school, as well as in the family, and can relate to their peers. Children are also sent to Sunday School, which is similar to the idea of Church schools.

Finally, baptism is a sacrament, a confirmation with God. This supports belief in God because the child has reached a new stage of spirituality and the priest recognises and confirms this in the eyes of God. In the lessons prior to baptism, the child can learn more about God, which can also lead to a religious experience, bringing their relationship with God to a more personal level, and thus supporting the belief in God.
