  1. Having trouble with this one too, all I could think of was numinous experiences and NDE's.

  2. points:
    - when people start to search for the meaning and purpose of their life on earth (now), this eventually leads them to God.
    - Christians believe that the purpose of this life on earth is to prepare for the afterlife; to "love thy neighbour" and do good in God's name etc.
    - justice will be served in the afterlife - the good will be raised to Heaven whilst the evil sinners will descend into Hell.

(Justice is often not served (properly) on earth. The evil sinners are often not severely punished for serious crimes, whilst the good and innocent suffer)

    - Only God can provide an afterlife, and only He could have the power to judge people and send them to Heaven/Hell.
    - Therefore, the search for meaning and purpose in life leads to belief in God.

  3. -You can also say that people may sometimes think about the purpose of evil and suffering and why does it exist. Since God gives a good reason for the existence of suffering and evil (as it is a test of faith and suffering can be a lesson planned by God) people may come to believe in God. So by searching why the purpose of evil and suffering in their lives, it may lead to believing in God.

Elaborating on Phoebe's point, you can also say that people feel very insecure about life after death. They feel that everything they do in life is worthless if everything ends at death. As a result by searching for the purpose in life, they can believe that there is life after death. And the life after death is controlled by God himself. This makes us believe in God.
