We also did this in year 10, the main points were divorce, premarital sex and changing status of women --> all leading to more single parent families/mothers and working women in society, leading to grandparents helping with child care, and therefore an increase in extended families.
The final point was changing attitudes to homosexuality mean more civil partnerships who can still have children via IVF (in vitro fertilisation) or AI (artificial insemination).
